Last week,19 teachers from 4 of our local districts attended New Teacher Academy. The focus of the evening was Special Education and Individual Education Plans (IEPs). Leading the discussions were Holly Faust, DSISD Special Education Supervisor and Sarah Racicot, DSISD Behavior Technician. Sarah Rymkos, DSISD Social Worker, presented on topics of well-being, including self-care and holiday sensitivity when working with youth.
